In this 2D evolution simulator your creatures must eat pellets, or each other, in order to survive, grow, reproduce and evolve. 

The creatures' AI consists of a single perceptron that iterates observes a different object each frame to decide whether to target, run away, or ignore it. 

Traits that can evolve include the weights and bias of a creature's perceptron, and their physical traits which can become more powerful with some drawbacks.


The ecosystem evolves based on how you shape the environment. Create an expansive and prosperous environment to foster multiple different survival strategies, or create a barren wasteland where creatures must race for scraps of food to survive.
